  1. Allow me to state the obvious: cmhc is what made housing expensive in the first place. In the early 90's a house could be bought at 2x an average gross income. That doesn't even buy a bachelor condo now because of the debt-driven demand, encouraging not saving and over extending because that's where wealth is going to outpace inflation. This is the most irresponsible government Canada has ever seen. Fix a bubble by wrapping it up in a protective bubble.
