James Dunn dude, you can type "saudi renewable" in google search and you'll get pages of articles on different initiatives currently under way, such as: Saudi and Japan start renewable energy cooperatives, wind farms in turkey, Saudi's moving to Aramco IPO, plus their solar desalination plant... etc. Make an effort to read something without asking a stranger on the internet to hold your hand. You clearly didn't even try.

  2. they're still working on the IPO... you wouldn't close down nasa for not getting a person to mars yet, would you? they're actively in the process of diversifying, and there's a whole bunch of evidence for it. they're not there yet, but they're starting. ergo, it has nothing to do with their religion stopping them from moving away from oil, that's just racist bullshit based on nothing but a fabricated idea.
