  1. Why don't phone have an image backup option yet so people can buy a new phone and write an old image with all apps, keys, messages, contacts, settings etc already setup on the old os? Linux has had the dd tool for like a hundred years already... Seems like a proper complete local backup option (ie not a cloud account) should be rolled out before mandatory TPMs for obvious reasons.

  2. I can't wait for a buffer overflow to leak pass keys and we find out all logins across all services have no password recovery method when a phone dies or gets bricked by a bad update lol
