  1. As a Canadian, nobody in Canada has any reason to be worried about tariffs lol. We're not dumb enough to worry about nothing. We have what we need, we have what they need. We're made richer by not selling raw resources, we'll just add value and jobs to do that by ourselves. It's pretty simple that selling raw resources is not the best way to get wealthier, it was a kindness we offered in exchange for protection. Symbiosis, just like in nature and what capitalism claims to understand and leverage best. Canada isn't worried, we have the resources and talent to do it ourselves, it was just easier to scale up with a large market to sell to. But now we've scaled up as suppliers, so Canada couldn't care less if USA doesn't want to trade, well just have more middle class jobs picking up the slack. This isn't full battle mode, this is comical indifference. There's no need for dramatic orchestral music interludes, this is such a junk piece it hurts 😂

  2. Trump "fixed" the Palestinian problem by shooting the victims of occupation in the heads and picking the other side. Israeli relations and Iranian relationships will be severed by this decision for a generation at the very least. That's a whole lot of broken diplomacy with bunch of heavily armed rich kings. Talk about epic failure

  3. There'd literally nothing stopping Russia from processing large transfers in bitcoin... Driving up and down the btc and thusly double dipping on series of pump and dumps in the process. Those losses will be born predominantly on non Russian btc users lol seriously, bitcoin is big enough to use to sell oil and buy bulk goods in. It'd be even cheaper than swift systems too, with no regulation and quicker transactions lol

Ooooh, we're fine, not a worry about nuclear annihilation, we're under agreement so there's for sure been no ramping up under the covers 😜 Why on earth would we assume nuclear weapons are overstated when we can confirm thousands when it would only take <100 nukes to destroy the planet and hundreds of millions of lives? Putin is shelling cities and hospitals - indiscriminate murder and perpetrated by young poor Russian kids at gunpoint. Putin would absolutely be the type of psychopath to actually use a nuclear bomb to put hie name in history. He's already blowing up cities and apartments to steal property, and for for the second time in a decade, no less. That is precisely the character who would be statistically likely in the 0.1th percentile of all human beings to use a nuclear bomb.

  5. Only people who have never created anything or seen something novel believe two states can't happen. A new arrangement like foreign impartial police is certainly an option. It will take a generation to filter our the animosity sparked by decades of brutality, but that's not never. Germany today is not the Germany of 100 years ago by any stretch. To say in 1950 with all the debt, rebuilding and reparations that Germany could never be the economic powerhouse of the continent would've been pretty foolish considering the bailouts of the financial crisis and all the central banks who begged Germany to help them prevent great depressions. Aot can happen in 100 years, this nihiliste myopia isn't great thinking or inspiring leadership, it's cowardice and criminally lazy for analysts of the information age to submit without more than a single proposal explored. Everything that has ever happened had to happen for the first time at some point. Civilization is extremely young. We haven't figured it all out already so guaranteed the notion that "it simply can't happen that Palestinians get a state" is hubris in the strictest sense. It's so lazy so many people believe they already know so much about complex integrated systems they can accurately simulate dynamics spanning centuries off the top of their heads without even putting pen to paper to think it through first.

Despite all the ignorant replies, the truth is western influence destabilized the government, then sanctions limited economic progress, then the unpopular regime that filled the power vacuum focused its efforts on a religious police state rather than getting with the times. Iran used to be doing well in all regards before the west plotted coups and sparked decades of hatred of western influence and distrust. It made them want nukes in the first place, and without nuclear power as an option they can't develop past oil as would be the natural progression of a mature economy. Iran is what it is today because of the selfishness and greed of foreign "leadership", much like South and Central America, and Africa as a whole. The world has suffered for our progress but we're too self absorbed to even acknowledge slave labour from China as a benefit too. It's not just Iran, Afganistan, Iraq, Congo, Egypt, Somalia, all kinds of places fell victim to the same western meddling. That's the truth.
