French, German, USA, Dutch, Russian, English, Austrian, Indian, etc. all have made maths discoveries before. Notice those countries don't discover maths by threatening their populations to innovate lol creative exploration of thought isn't born of censorship by dictators. Nothing the CCP can do but liberalize if they want Chinese people to excel in cutting edge scientific discoveries.
