  1. 22:53 there were thousands of people urging America to think through their 9/11 response... Even me as a 16-yr old had that basic wisdom being born the descendent of refugee Jewish great grandparents (displaced long before the holocaust even occurred). It takes critical thinking and self control, an earnest pursuit of truth, and the acknowledgement that most people aren't heavily involved in politics so logically they should never be targeted. Villains never see themselves as villains, so it takes vigilance to ensure we never become villains ourselves.

  3. Iran's not incompetent, they had to respond but didn't want to escalate, obviously. It also costs 70 grand for a drone and 500 grand to shoot one down. It cost USA and Israel a lot of money and there was threat that missing some would've hurt Israel a lot and Iran could always say they tried to be beyond reasonable.

  4. It's amazing how rare we hear context in the regular news. I wish tv and radio had more of this. My news station is in too much of a rush to show video of a cat saved from a fire, and asking residents if they ever imagined their houses would burn down unexpectedly... Our news tells us nothing of statistical analysis during years of covid hourly updates and poorly represented data - again, without ever shedding any context on how to read or interpret the studies / charts. It's no wonder everyone is so dumb they elect Boris or Trump, right down from state to county to city government wins by appealing to idiots because our news and universities are so bad at informing the public to a basic adult standard if competency and literacy. Of course we'll have wars, and recessions, and deficits, shootings, income disparity, radical identity noise, and corruption. Of course that's the result of an uneducated democracy, what else would it possibly look like to have a majority stupid population in the information age???

  5. Herzog describes innocent Palestinians in terms that apply to the Zionist occupation known as Israel. Israel is as much a state as the Islamic state of isis, when viewed empirically by their words and deeds. Objectively, Israel is behaving as terrorists just as Hamas are behaving as terrorists. Neither is unprovoked. That doesn't justify anyone's terrorism, it justifies peace talks and ceasefires.

If the USA is scared to condemn genocide or condition aid, why doesn't anyone ask if Israel is blackmailing the world's politicians?   8. First things first - Tony blinken can't say a good deal when he funded plausible genocide. Gaza is levelled, tens of thousands of innocent people murdered, journalists, EMS, and protesters abroad are being beaten and jailed. A "generous deal" would be we're leaving, sorry for all the decades of checkpoints and military court prosecutions at 99% conviction rates for kids. A generous Israeli Dea would be to submit to full democracy in the region and submit to ICJ for human rights violations spanning half a century. Sitting government are convicted war criminals. A generous offer would be simply committing to the same standards of justice, halting settlement expansion permanently. What's Tony blinken idea of a "generous offer from Israel"? ... Oh... Nice, that sure is generous innit ... 🙄

  9. How could any average American listen to Bernie and think to themselves "nah, it's alright. They should be entitled to my country's wealth at my expense, they earned it and a lot more. Let's focus on space lasers and pizza parlours while we extrajudiciously disrupt the democratic process." Priorities? Literacy? And just to be real, Colbert does racial comedy too, it's just not black racism it's US Republicans lol his whole career was targeting that group for their skin colour and beliefs, that's prejudice too. But in comedy it's cool, at a table with bishops in the Vatican as Pope, not the same thing as a Netflix special. Sadly, it's still going to work.

We're well aware we have enough resources and talent to do just fine without trade with America lol Trudeau is just trying to keep as many doors open as possible but he's not as worried as America should be imho. Emotionally, though: I think we're all secure enough with ourselves to laugh instead of catch feelings about a joke. We are the best at them, probably some say the best ever at jokes. We joke a lot, like never before. Everyone knows Canada is a joke. That's why we're happier, healthier, safer, freer, and highestest IQ, meaning the smartester ones who joke. That's why our jokes are so great because that's what we are... 😂.
