  3. The note 2 was an amazing phone. Micro SD card, 1080p video, headphone jack, removable $29 battery, private storage (without cloud!) and all less than half the preinstalled bloatware today. I upgraded to a note 5 which was nice and powerful, but missing the 2's niceties.. Now the note 9 is the last model I'll ever buy. I'll just keep getting the same model because I'm an audiophile. There's no reason for a newer flagship even though I hate the bloatware the audio and 1440p is phenomenal (which they've since downgraded on newer models lol). Everyone should rally around the note 9 and Samsung should just stop releasing new models and just upgrade the 9 to 9.x. It's their best phone bar none, except the cameras might be dated if you're into 4k hdr... But it's a phone. Get an SLR of that's what you need lol

I think anyone stealing $10,000 worth of tools on a regular basis can probably bribe an employee to steal the activation device needed to make all those tools work lol or bribe the remote administrators of the tools to release the DRM locks. It probably helps secure a thief's trade by forcing established conspirators to cooperate as accomplices. DRM has a tendency to backfire like that in my experience.

  7. What people want is spending power. The price is irrelevant if wages are higher and a crash in prices would be irrelevant if our dollar becomes worth gold. Prices are fleeting and momentary, but purchasing power dictates wealth / security / quality of life.

  9. The note 9 is the last good phone ever made. It's still the best experience. SD, headphones, 1440p, no 5g. Only downside is esims aren't usually supported so if you're travelling this one sucks. Dual sim I think, but not esim. I hate how this shit has become normal.
