  1. Why does nobody remember Nvidia was hacked and threatened their driver code would be released if Nvidia didn't support the nouveau project? Nvidia never willingly allowed this, and devs are doing a great job but with mfg support (although coerced and limited). It's not really amazing, it's more like it's about time. It's good, but not at all amazing or surprising. I'm surprised it's taking this long still tbh. Nvidia's really dragging their feet lol
