OCD lol it's a tool, I don't modify the angle of my hammer I just use it to drive nails. If it drives nails reliably then it's a good hammer.

Troubleshooting Ubuntu is actually easier because when you have an issue and look it up there are a ton of other people who have solved the issue. If your system is selectively installing every dependency it's pretty hard know how every piece of software you have interacts if nobody online has come across the issue (or because people who have come across the issue didn't post the question online because they fixed it themselves quietly). It's much harder to learn Linux without common ground when discussing issues in the community.

@Cookiekeks lol I think you took that way too seriously. I have OCD, it was an ironic comment hence the "lol" directly after it. Pearl Jam is the only grunge rock that matters and it's pronounced "jif" 😜 there's nothing wrong with what you're doing with your system, it's just friendly banter.
