  1. UK debt isn't denominated in other currencies, a lower currency makes the nation richer relative to their debts because they mainly need to repay pounds which are cheaper and easier to repay with existing exports. I don't understand what all the fuss is about.

  2.  @PaulaXism  any educated population in a globalised economy has services and goods to export. It just takes the will to turn away from laundering and finance to support productive labour. Not cars, or chip fabs, or garbage trendy projects. Export nuclear science, export construction design software, ARM SOCs, educational projects like moocs, or anything else that's low overhead highly specialized.
