When checking authenticity put the bill in light and anything over 1-2 dollarbills should have the bills denomination in a thin threaded strip that goes horizontally and is only visible when put up to light . On 5 it's right side the rest left side of face . I have yet to see a fake with this feature ..again only anything above 2 dollars so counterfeiting dollars would be the best option for scammers since it seems this feature is hard to fake .
