None of them execute people for being gay. None of them execute people for apostasy, adultery or blasphemy. They are all safe and tolerant.

The dinghy divers are not fleeing Nazi Germany. They are not fleeing 15th. Century Spain. They are fleeing (indeed have passed through several) free, liberal countries on the continent of Europe. They are illegal tourists, looking for the best deal they can find.
