@lucienlaurent4289 Utter ridiculous nonsense. They were not tricked and it is not slavery. Thousands freely apply to join every year, a few hundred are recruited. They earn far more than they would earn in Nepal, they get free health care, their salary is paid in full and on time, without a portion stolen as it would be in Nepal. They get a handsome pension which they could never expect in Nepal. Does that sound like slavery to you? Check the dictionary definition before you reply. They are not mercenaries. Gurkhas are recruited by India and by Singapore every year. Are they also slaves?
