  3. Bless those resistance fighters. According to Bart van Es, in his book; 'The Cut Out Girl', the people of the Netherlands, proportionately handed over the most Jews to the occupiers. The resistance fighters were so very courageous. We owe them a debt we cannot repay. God rest their souls. I once worked with a man whose parents were farmers in Denmark. They would be informed by code, via the BBC, of arms drops on their farms, intended for the Danish resistance. Imagine how much nerve that required. None are recorded in history, but we are still in their debt. We can forgive, but we should never forget.
