It is only ridiculous in your opinion. It is the Japanese Law of succession, that's all. Let the Japanese decide how they want things done.

@wylee5984 Exactly. Amongst the people of Japan there are different opinions. It is nothing to do with race or skin colour.

@moonlightpaw5868 No it isn't. It all depends where you live and who you are. Women and girls in the Islamic world have a miserable life whether rich or poor, but men are pretty miserable too. In much of the rest of the world women and men have a more or less equal chance of opportunity and happiness. In the Western world they are indeed equally placed for opportunity.
