  1. I always associated such laws with commie and fascist regimes, where millions ended up in clink, exiled, or meeting their maker, for criticising the authorities or the official ideology. It never occurred to me that the same could happen in Western Europe. The government, the media, the police and the judiciary, all cooperating to suppress freedom of thought and expression.
