  1. Even better and cheaper, tell the applicants to stay at home, sign on the dole and after three years send them their BA in lesbian dance theory, or their Bsc in de-colonising maths, in the post. They will continue to be on the dole, but at least they can claim to have a useless university degree, thereby having increased self-confidence.
