  1. Yes, of course, except the Gurkha regiment. However, the number of British people willing to put on a uniform and fight for the UK is diminishing. The UK is no longer worth fighting for.

  2.  @Tourist1967  The UK recruits were fighting for the UK. Commonwealth recruits had other reasons to join the fight, including in some cases, wanting to assist the UK.

"Government data shows more people left the British military than signed up last year, further exacerbating an ongoing recruitment crisis. The UK Ministry of Defence (MoD) reported 16,140 full-time personnel quit the armed forces in the past 12 months, while only 10,680 enlisted." The UK's enemies can find all the comfort they want in government data, online or in the newspapers. They are not relying on me for comfort!
