  1. Just imagine flying on a long haul flight piloted by somebody who has been employed based on their colour or sex, rather than their ability and experience. I care nothing about their racial background, or what is between their legs. I want the pilot that will get me to the correct destination with a soft landing. It seems the height of insults, to allow someone to think that they might have been employed because of their ethnicity or their sex, rather than their ability. Remember the female recruitment officer in the RAF, who resigned, because she was told not recruit boring white men? Incredible.
