Going into a war-zone considerably increases the risk of disablement or an early death. Everybody knows that, former soldiers even more so.

A silly comparison. A war zone is inherently dangerous. Better to stay away if you prefer to keep all your limbs and your life.

@nihilistlivesmatter The IDF shares responsibility. What is really silly is to believe that as an English former soldier, you are immune from being harmed in a war-zone.

@nihilistlivesmatter There is also a difference between avoiding a war-zone and deliberately placing oneself in the middle of it. We don't know all facts, but we do know that three foreign 'civilians' placed themselves in the front line. Stuff happens in wartime. Always does and very little of it is pleasant.

@ShredCo I have seen them all. My comment remains true. War zones are dangerous, even deadly. Everybody has known that for tens of thousands of years. It remains true today. Tell me that war zones are safe!!
