Is there a difference between the attainment of Africans and West Indians? I have heard from a teacher in London, that the latter perform worse than the former. I have also heard that the proportion of black students going to university is higher than working class white students. Perhaps that is due to the universities giving preference to black students. After all, Abbott and Lammy have university degrees from top institutions and they are not the sharpest tools in the shed.
