It is still less than two months since the end of the transition period and nearly all industries have been damaged? Come on let's see the evidence.

@raemichaelroberts It is a post based on ignorance and prejudice. Wanting to leave the EU goes back decades, even before freedom of movement and even before the EU, when it was the EEC. Nobody would accuse Tony Benn, Barbara Castle, Dennis Skinner and Jeremy Corbyn of having negative views about immigration. They all wanted the UK to leave the EU.

@squanchy9755 Tony Benn, Barabara Castle, Peter Shore, Dennis Skinner all campaigned against joining the EEC, long before anybody had heard about Farage. At that time it was simply a trading bloc. Corbynski voted against every single EU Treaty and agreement, long before freedom of movement raised its head. You can listen to what they say about the EEC and the EU on youtube. I agree with every word they say.

The reasons individuals had for voting to leave the EU are irrelevant. Nobody has to justify their legal and secret vote. Just continue with your prejudices and condescention and you should be happy enough.

There were many reasons to vote to leave the EU. Many were consistently argued very well by politicians long before the EU became what it is today. Tony Benn, Dennis Skinner, Barbara Castle, Peter Shore and Jeremy Corbyn were amongst those who passionately and eloquently expressed those arguments, again and again. This was long before freedom of movement became a thing. So, ditch your immature prejudices and do some research for a change.
