  1. The people of Russia know how to suffer with grace. They have one thousand years of experience. About the brain drain, it is true, since the commies came to power through a putsch in 1917, brilliant Russians have been leaving. Examples are Andre Geim and Konstantin Novoselov, who were awarded Nobel Prizes for their work on Graphene at Manchester University. They were both Knighted by Queen Elizabeth II. I think that we in Europe should thank Russia for its suicidal policies. I am very impressed by the standard of English.
