  1. Party-gate was a silly creation by the media but very useful for the Tory leadership. It distracted attention from the real crime; the outrageous and illegal restrictions on citizens' freedom.

  2. Of course they have increased. They are as much an industry and organisation as any other and the first priority of any organisation is its own survival and growth. They are a very convenient way for supermarket companies to virtue signal in two ways; firstly by reducing food waste, secondly to shout about helping the 'poor'. More free produce means more outlets, more outlets means more consumers.

  3. Utter nonsense. It has happened many times before. Inflation in double figures is a worldwide phenomenon. I live in an Asian country where inflation is over 43%. Boris has no influence here at all.
