@panda45925 Many thousands (20k to 35k) die from or with annual flu every year. Many thousands also die from heart disease, heart failure, cancer. This year, hardly anybody is recorded as having died from cancer, heart disease etc. People who have long standing health conditions, then catch the flu, would normally be recorded as dying from that condition, with flu as a complication. As for the person who is run over by a bus within 28 days of a positive covid test result, that death is indeed recorded as a covid death. Ian Duncan Smith told us this, a few months ago. The numbers are unreliable. When the UK's annual flu deaths for 2020/2021, I am sure it will show an unusually (unbeIievably) low number. https://www.bbc.com/news/health-53722711
