  12. David was treated very shabbily. Shame on those people and their institutions. He is a deeply good and brilliant man who overcame a rather challenging background, not least being born with two club feet and being afflicted by polio, to become an intellectual titan, a role model. A prophet in his own lifetime.

Many MPs and Peers describe the majority of the populace as racist, zenophobic, bigots. If the Ruskies decided to take our islands, we would hand over the keys on a silver platter.

  24. Not only do we not respect them, we don't trust them. The police are policing everything except crime. A complete waste of money. Funding levels are not the problem. The real problem is poor prioritisation of tasks and targets. Write hurty words about islam on the internet, several coppers will come to your door. Report a burglary and you will get a crime number over the phone, a copper will never darken your door.
