During the war they communicated with the nazis to do a deal if the UK lost the war. The nationalist Irish have wanted a unified Ireland since 1922. No connection with Brexit whatever.

As for the feelings of some Scots, facts don't care about feelings. Here is a fact for you, more people in Scotland voted for Brexit than voted for the SNP. There was a referendum in 2014. It was said to be a once in a generation vote. Millenials tell us that there are more than 100 genders, but even they would agree that 7 years do not comprise a generation.
