@Diarmaid O'Riordan A national poll is just that. There is a single result for the whole country. If it had gone the other way, the Welsh might say that they were being forced to remain in the EU against their will. It is all silly.

@Diarmaid O'Riordan The government is the government of the UK. For years the top jobs were occupied by Scots, I don't remember anybody objection to Scots having the top jobs. Whoever is in the Cabinet, it is the government of the UK, not the 'Government of England'. Your argument is ridiculous.

@Diarmaid O'Riordan Well I am not to happy that most of the British Isles were ruled by the Romans, but I must admit that is all in the past, so I don't think about it much. As for the feelings of some Scots, facts don't care about feelings. Here is a fact for you, more people in Scotland voted for Brexit than voted for the SNP. There was a referendum in 2014. It was said to be a once in a generation vote. Millenials tell us that there are more than 100 genders, but even they would agree that 7 years do not comprise a generation.
