The spiritual hierarchy is vast and diverse. Energy can be focused, stored, aggregated by the usual means, intention. If your character is weak your instantaneous psychic state will be correspondingly loosely organized, which is to say, not under your absolute control. This allows your intentionality to be hijacked, by a host of resonant associations. Once that ball gets rolling, you have a choice: roll along with it as it increases to an unmanageable point, or resist it to reclaim ownership of all intent. You can work yourself into a variety of tizzies if you let it go.
Hierarchically, there will be natural divisions of "labor", so to speak. So the idea of the "demonic head" comes into play. Everything in reality is accomplished through the operation of hierarchy. At the lowest level you have the most minor entities doing the grunt work (i.e. "pull that quark over here, push that gluon up there...viola!"); these entities' boss serves to aggregate and focus his underlings' efforts, even to end they don't understand. These minor supervisors may come under a single head such as you might be urged by a grimoire to contact for favors.
In the final analysis, "demonic forms", are vehicles of apperception...you create them, and you ride in them, using them as vehicles of expression. When you get "mad as hell", for instance, you sow the seed of a demon, at the urging of other such created demons--an urging that flows through the One Mind as a resonant response to YOU!

Facebook's algorithmic censorship IS election meddling! Why isn't that fact obvious to everyone? I'm so sorry, but everything keeps coming back to IQ: the ability to operate one's mentality effectively and logically, to make sound decisions and accurate observations. A low enough IQ precludes all high-level reasoning. Some people just can never "get it". And I have to think this is a significant proportion of the population...the fly in the ointment, as it were; the ruinous influence that cannot be eradicated. Traditionally, the low-IQ element has been naturally "contained" by forces of competition: stupid people don't win, don't accumulate wealth and power, so have little influence. However, the message of the past few decades has been, "You smart people won the competition, so now be nice, and pay attention to what stupid people say." It's time to get back to a little natural economic selection...

Hmm...Styx implies a sort of "scientific superstition" as an evolution of "superstition". But, I'd suggest an alternative take: popular perception of "science" is largely superstitious. Without a basic understanding of "science", most people have to take scientific pronouncements as a sort of "gospel"--believing in the absence of understanding. Yeah, most people appear to be scientifically superstitious, believing in a vague "science" they imbue with mysterious, secret POWERS by their lack of understanding and propensity for sensationalism. "Scientifically speaking, the earth has only 12 more years left." hahaha...if you say, "science", well, it MUST be true! I'm sorry to say, technology has empowered the stupid, and "nothing...can ever be...the same".
