I've heard Styx's argument for keeping 230--sounded like chicken shit, to me. Half-measures seem safe in their caution, but, in this case, they would simply fail to achieve the desired result. It's time for the internet to GROW UP! You wanna play, be ready to pay! Then you'll watch your mouth and your manners! "Something similar with teeth", he says, oblivious to the fact those "teeth" are simply the threat of prosecution, which, itself, is corruptible. Keep It Simple Stupid! Let people assume their own responsibility--goof off time is over!
Oh, and, yeah, that means, NO CHILD USERS!

No, the "curtains" were actually a "curtain system", involving, undoubtedly, motorized programmable control. So 50k isn't all that bad a price. I've never heard the term, "lies by structure"; I don't think it's useful. It may be a direct description of what's happening, but it doesn't elicit a well-connected understanding. Illuminating a lack of structural integrity by referencing relevant logical fallacies leaves you in the realm of logical thinking, whereas subjective/general descriptive terms leave you scrambling for a procedural basis (i.e. "ok, now what?"). In the realm of logic there's lots of options for accurate, constructive rebuttal. "Lies by structure" elicits, "So, you don't like my structures, eh?". You've identified "structure" as an important issue; the logical fallacies can break that out into a couple dozen more specific issues.
This reminds me how difficult it can be to use language in communicating with others. Errors of translation compound: a simple sentence of five words may easily contain two words defined differently by two people in a conversation, introducing errors of translation that multiply against each other (not just a simple additive stacking, but a multiplicative stacking). So, it is safer, socially-speaking, to use general terminology because the effect of error stacking is to produce a MORE general meaning, which is likely to be less...unexpected than the effect of error stacking in the case of more specific terminology, which has the potential to be more personally offensive due to its exaggerated specificity. So, when you move from using general terminology to more specific terminology, you go from "safer" to more "dangerous". Unfortunately for many people, this move is absolutely necessary in order for communication to be useful. You have to be able to drop the "hey, look at me" small-talk mentality in favor of "perfect the structure of the communication". If a translation error is capable of disturbing your intellectual equilibrium, this isn't the game for you.

Oh, yeah! I've used self-hypnosis to avoid the expense of a couple of novacaine shots. It was a very interesting and illuminating experience! But, the short of it is that, through relaxation, the sensation is present ABSENT "pain"; something about muscular tension translates sensation into pain. I could feel the drill doing its thing on my eye teeth, and saw the most interesting colored lightning show behind my closed eyes, but "pain" would only begin to rise with an increase in muscular tension. Really, self-hypnosis is just the state you're left in after complete relaxation. The relaxation process is a bit involved/lengthy, though. Interestingly also: certain emotions, like "fear", tend to involve muscle tension. So, the fear of muscle tension, which would elicit pain, is tension-inducing in itself! After being distracted by the pretty light show in my head, I had to return to the background task of maintaining complete relaxation, or suffer immense painfulness with a compete breakdown of concentration. The young pretty dental assistance sat at my feet. I didn't let myself be too distracted, but it seemed her look was almost "thrilled". I imagined she wanted to fuck me...but I was, like, 19, so I thought every girl wanted to fuck me. hahahahehe...aahhh...19...hehe
Hypnosis and acupuncture are mainstream medicine in China...

I'm seeing Russia as more internationally responsible than the US. Russia's interjections always seem eminently reasonable, both in nature and in presentation. They look patient, level-headed, and even-handed in their dealings; the US tends to appear equivocal, petulant, and impulsive in its responses--and positively demanding in its dealings. The difference is, in a word, "maturity". How long is your county's history? Russia is 1157 years old this year; the US is 243. In people terms, if Russia is 28 years old, US is 6. And this six-year-old is armed to the teeth and used to getting what it wants, when it wants it!
