I can't believe these for-profit corporations would undertake any political position that would damage its profitability! They must be being compensated--nothing else explains their willingness to alienate customers. I sense an opportunity here to probe the legality of these corps acting against their own best interest (i.e. bottom line). That IS illegal, technically. Buy a share of stock (to establish standing) and sue their pants off for violation of corporate law! In the absence of resistance, this kind of abuse will only escalate.

@mark98115 <--Sometimes I wish I was a lawyer, so I could really figure this shit out--but I come to my senses almost immediately, realizing the cost to my self-esteem would be prohibitive. But, aren't all corporate charters contingent on serving "the public good" (or some such terminology)? They'd have to stop it, or make a case for discrimination against a group of people serving the public good, a difficult case to make from a non-partisan perspective.
