  1. You "believe in" quantum theory??! WHY! 🤣 Because people you believe in believe in it?! Your personal narrative, however derived or devised, stabilizes your psyche. It doesn't much matter what it is, as long as it is cogent and coherent, and, therefore, functional. Attributions of authority engender confidence that our judgements are "correct". The individual cannot abdicate his responsibility as the final authority, though, try as he might.
