  1. I find it so odd that Styx denigrates the idea of an "energy body" underlying our physical bodies. What occult view dismisses "spirit" so casually?

  2. Acupuncture works only by the placebo effect?! hahaha...Styx is stuck on the colloquial sense of "placebo" as a mind trick. I'm not used to him being so purely ignorant AND arrogant about it, too! The "placebo effect" remains unexplainable, no matter how they try to persuade you otherwise. He's purely unaware of experiments demonstrating the efficacy of placebos. A patient has been told, and so he believes, he's going in for knee surgery, but he doesn't receive it, and recovers normally, as if he had.
