  1. The challenge for "occultism" in the modern age is TECHNOLOGY, and the technological mindset. The mystical mindset in not compatible with tech mindset. The tech mindset insists that the subtle can be manipulated as well as the gross; the mind as "machine"...and the "heart" as "machinist"?...Of course, this is not improper; it's just an accommodation of the times, that will, eventually, lead to understanding of "occult principles" appropriate for contemporary culture. The opportunity/danger has to do with the potential usage of "psychic machines". There's gonna be HELL TO PAY!...hehehe...
