God and devil (add an "o" to god="good"; subtract a "d" from "devil"="evil"; hmm, never noticed before, and I'm pretty sure it's meaningless...curious, though) are creations of human consciousness, as they are commonly conceived. The natural world does not produce "good" and "evil". You do. The forces that ensoul our peculiar notions of good and evil, etc. ARE very real, though. Nature, for all Her apparent cruelty, is NOT malicious. We err in attributing intent to natural forces.
