Styx's dictated solution is communistic; he's not using the language of business. You can't just say, "Do this..."; in a capitalist system, it's the business of business to utilize commercial resources as efficiently as possible. Sometimes that means abandoning property interests. And government likes to provide business incentives as inducements to do what the government wants done. But the mechanism of actual accomplishment is business: people who make a living building and selling things...aka "business". The external control of business activity is NOT capitalistic. But it might be libertarian, eh?! Libertarians are the ultimate political fence-sitters. From what I've read, they seem to combine part of democrat with part of republican with a liberal admixture of anarchy...jack of all political trades, master of none? That's the secret of their impotence, politically: they've spread themselves so ideologically thin, as it were, that their identity is vague. Libertarians are "a pig in a poke" as far as voters are concerned. My latter point being only that Styx, as a libertarian, would not balk at the idea of dictating commercial behavior...like, "Capitalism works up to a point, and then LIBERTARIANS have to step in and dictate the remaining course"...
