  1. In this context, a "slur" is a disparaging remark or a slight. "Cis" is a slur, as there is no complimentary usage of the term. However, so what?! Each of us contributes uniquely to the evolution of language by our word choices and responses. If every time a person uses the term he hears, "F YOU", the proliferation of the term may be lessened. At any rate it will eventually be clarified according to its acceptance.
