  1. The rationale for making guns "safer" is unconstitutional: at some point "safer" will mean "impossible to use"! Given the extreme case is absurd, the less extreme case shares a degree of that absurdity. Prove the efficacy and efficiency of the proposed safety measure. Seems increasing the cost of guns with stupid "safety" features is designed to limit the availability of guns to the people according to their means--blatantly discriminatory.

  2. All these stupid laws are just the government pushing their own responsibilities off onto others! Failing to do their jobs, they blame others for their failure--otherwise, they're a walking advertisement for "the other candidate", whomever he may be...
