  1. The MSM is attacking "freedom of the press" by attempting to marginalize its "competition", often creating fake news to that end. Clearly, philosophically, the constitutional function of the press is compromised by the MSM's profit motive. The point of regulation is to minimize this loss of function by limiting/exposing the relation of the MSM to its advertisers. But, as is always the case, the rich and powerful MSM lobbied successfully for exceptions to regulatory activity, on its promise to "play nice". I think it's broken it's promise and its exemptions should be struck from the law.
