  1. Facial recognition is here to stay, and grow; same with AI and genetic engineering. It's too easy to do and too powerful NOT to pursue. Yes, it will be the background of the future. The problem will be managing the effect; and the solution--whatever it is--will be...subliminal, the face of the cultural milieu (i.e. "just the way it is"). The tragedy is that "it will just make sense", that's all.
