There is only one human mind that we all share. This represents a state of extreme exposure for the "individual", inducing a fear so intense that it acts as a guardian of our separatist illusion. We fear that, without our carefully guarded sense of separateness, we would cease to be individuals. So we create belief systems we then use to formulate our reality; filter our sense perceptions to support the "I am separate" sensation. I must say I am surprised that styx would use the word, "parapsychology" more than once, but never, "metaphysics". I find the latter term so much more useful. It's the difference between a soft science and a hard science.
