Congress is too busy doing nothing to do anything about anything! I know there's not supposed to be any "litmus" tests for public office qualification, but, really, there should be an IQ threshold, let's say, average (is that too ambitious!). You'd expect it to take a fairly intelligent animal to battle its way to the top of the political heap, but it's looking less and less that way, as the apparently less qualified candidates seem to manage, with little difficulty, sudden success. Now if they could only make intelligent decisions...maybe we're safer with Congress not doing anything.
