  1. There's no "debate"...it's a character show, a display of personality. The questions are largely irrelevant, as are the answers. "Can I trust this guy?" is the question at the back of voters' minds. It's up to each person to formulate his own answer to this question; it's an extremely individual procedure--one that propaganda would like to influence.
