The "crux of the problem" is always "fashion", what everybody does, says, thinks, feels, etc....For most people, "believing" something amounts to accepting a set of thoughts as true, in the manner of a fashion, but without any understanding as to the value and usage of the psychical state of "expectation" that activates belief.
