If you're trying to prove an occultist can also be a rank materialist...well, you'll have to prove the former first, 'cause it's a logical impossibility for a genuine occultist to be a materialist. Hence, the utility, I imagine, of "satanism" within your worldview, as it provides a terminal point for that nagging materialist sentimentality. It's just a palliative for the cognitive dissonance, though...

  3. Do yourself a favor, Styx, before you spout off about this again, and check the work of Dr. Modi, a psychiatrist, who explored this very topic exhaustively in her practice. The materialist is ever and always the de-bunker...it's all they've got.

  4. Styx's reliance on "proof" as a standard is also the hallmark of the materialist. There is virtually NOTHING in occultism amenable to PROOF of the sort a materialist would accept. The value of such proof, furthermore, is irrelevant; occultism is not material science, but, rather an obscuration of spiritual science, rather like a religion. "Oh, then it's a belief system". Yeah, like modern science. hahaha...All your "proofs" are only a measure of the self-consistency of modern science, not its validity in another context. The game runs according to the rules you made for it. Duh.
