  1. It's simply an exposition of esoteric atomism. Atomism, being as ancient a philosophy as it is, was exoterically vibrant, and is still fundamental to modern ideation. Monadism, the Leibnizian doctrine of monads as unextended, indivisible, and indestructible entities that are the ultimate constituent of the universe and a microcosm of it (also called monadology), is the most persistent modern expression of atomism. So...what's "consciousness"?
