  1. "Patriotism" does not mean different things to different people; it's definition does not depend on who is using the word. I know it seems like nit-picking, but that's what it takes to think straight. Different people VALUE the meaning of the word differently, depending on their personal experience. Language is an important tool; we should take some care to preserve its integrity.
