Congressional dems have been doing a lot of this sort of thing, lately, asking people to do something it would be illegal for them (congress) to do themselves, just hoping for agreeable people to cow to their bidding--BLUSTER, essentially. Simply put, this is NOT honorable behavior. And people, of every IQ level, innately understand "honor", and they DO notice...oh, yes...the idiot who slits his own throat because it seemed like the right thing to do at the time IS attention-getting...
