  1. A critical mass of populist sentiment is cresting. Popular perception has become, sometimes painfully, educated, then made wise in ways of the world previously obscured. The EU is finished...all except the dying. In the US it'll be socialists vs populists for the foreseeable future. The old order has succumbed to its own infirmity sufficiently for it to be too weak to resist its practical dissolution.
