  1. Soon enough, I think, "GoFundMe" will be synonymous with "BS" in the average person's casual awareness. Iow, suspicion and disrespect. Somehow, Americans, taking the wrong path, get to the right destination. I mean, there's a logical way to get to the conclusion that GoFundMe=BS, that most Americans don't use. Instead, they use more irrational means to arrive at this conclusion: like catchy anecdotes of GoFundMe absurdities that eventually amount to disrespectful impressions, that linger; like negative opinions of GoFundMe clients that naturally "rub off" on GoFundMe itself. They may not think too rigorously as a group, but Americans have a nose for BS...the mystique of self-reliance, and all that.
